3 Tips For Scoring A Good Deal On A New Car

Cody Wade

Although there are certainly plenty of benefits to buying a used car, there is nothing quite like buying a brand new car that has never been owned by anyone. However, you could be concerned about the cost of buying a brand new vehicle, and you might assume that you'll have to pay too much. Luckily, there are a few things that you can do to get a brand new car for a far lower price. Try these three tips, and you could be surprised by the affordable pricing that you may find.

1. Buy from a Brand-Specific Dealer

Don't just stop at the first dealership that you find when you're shopping for a new car. Instead, look for a dealership that specializes in selling vehicles from the manufacturer of your choice. Brand-specific dealers typically work more closely with manufacturers and can generally get cars at lower prices. Plus, they will be more able to order a specific vehicle that you might be looking for and can often negotiate better terms.

2. Buy Last Year's Model

If you haven't yet looked at the new cars from last year's line-up, you are missing out on some potentially great deals. Many dealers sell these cars at drastically reduced prices because they want to get them off of the lot to make room for the new line-up. You'll be able to enjoy all of the benefits of a brand new car while getting it at a price that is a little closer to used.

3. Don't Fall for Fancy Features

Although you might love the idea of buying a brand new car with all of the top-of-the-line features, scaling back is probably one of the easiest ways to drastically reduce the cost of buying a brand new car. Do you really need a fancy built-in navigation system when you have your own GPS or typically use the one on your phone? Will you actually use the self-parking feature, or are you a master at parallel parking yourself? Even though it might seem a little disappointing to opt for a car without all of these dazzling features, buying a base model can allow you to buy brand new for a lower cost.

As you can see, there are a few different things that you can do to score the lowest possible price on a brand new car. Give these tips a try, and you might find that it's cheaper to buy a new vehicle than you originally thought.

Learning All About Auto Body Restoration

Hi guys, the name is Phyllis. I'm here to teach you all there is to know about auto body repair. I grew up watching my dad strip down cars and restore them to new with beautiful coats of paint. Between coats, I loved to see how the sanding process removed imperfections and readied the surface for more paint. I grew to love the hobby enough to try it out for myself. My journey started with bicycle frames. The frames easily hung from the ceiling to make sanding and painting a breeze. Eventually, I took my sander and sprayer to the finish of my old car to restore its beauty. You can learn about the auto body repair and restoration process by visiting my site each week. I'll share information about traditional and modern techniques, tools and parts you can use to improve the finish on any vehicle. Thanks for visiting!
